Last week, we showed you the Valhalla KAZUAL, a V-33 decked out with aesthetic enhancements and outfitted for day tripping, cocktail cruising and beach hopping with some casual fishing thrown in the mix. This time around, we showcase a Valhalla that’s strictly business – and that would be the business of fishing – with straightforward classic looks and purposeful accessories and equipment. The two boats are testament to the freedom Valhalla Boatworks (VBW) gives its owners to personalize their V Series to their liking.

We grabbed a few shots before the Valhalla 41 Kelcey Grace was delivered. She’ll be based out of Ocean City, Maryland, and Palm Beach, Florida. The owner is enamored with the boat, and impressed with VBW’s workmanship, fit and finish. She features a Snow White gelcoat and our custom removable transom fillet table. Other fish-focused equipment includes Gemlux internally rigged (white) outriggers, two Hooker 4500 variable speed live well pumps as part of the Hooker sea chest system, four 12-volt electric reel outlets, Miya Epoch US6 electric teaser reels and 30-plus rod holders (in an assortment of types and orientations catering to their fishing program). “The boat is really set up for running to the canyons and trolling for marlin and tuna,” says Ryan Higgins, Valhalla Boat Sales South General Manager and Viking Yachts Southeast Sales Manager. “It’s really a highly focused Valhalla.”

Powered with quad Mercury Verado 400s, this V-41 keeps it fresh and clean, with the owner choosing to go without coaming bolsters (but with nicely finished coaming edges). But make no mistake, she’s got plenty of pizzazz, with an array of teak accents (Release Marine teak helm chairs, a faux teak helm pod, forward seating with teak seat backs and a faux teak toe rail). An Ice Blue hardtop underside adds to Kelcey Grace’s cool demeanor. The boat also boasts a few other enhancements such as a Seakeeper 3, a bow thruster, a hardtop-mounted thermal imaging camera and a Costa Marine aft sunshade.
