V-46 Debut
You followed the build of the first V-46 every step of the way, beginning six months ago when Viking President and CEO Pat Healey announced the project from the floor of the R&D Department at Viking. And now we proudly present the first images of the completed Valhalla 46, the new flagship of the V Series, which made its world premiere to rave reviews last week at the Viking and Valhalla VIP Boat Show in Florida.
“To tell you this has been an incredible experience is an understatement,” says Pat. “I’m so proud of our entire team. It’s been six months of hard work, but the result is nothing short of spectacular. The performance and handling, the layout and fishability, and the quality and workmanship are second to none.”
The V-46 has been the talk of the town since she arrived in the Palm Beach area, with boating enthusiasts fawning over her graceful lines and unforgettable profile.
This view shows the V-46’s immense 13-foot, 4-inch beam, which provides ample space for the four-chair second row of seating as well as the three-person mezzanine seat. Like the V-33, V-37 and V-41, the Valhalla 46 can be personalized to the owner’s liking. The owner of hull No. 1 chose a Flag Blue hull, faux-teak transom and toerail, teak helm chairs and a non-metallic silver for the satellite dome, radar antenna, spotlight and thermal imaging camera.
Wow, right? A night-time shot of the V-46 showcases her custom hardtop and frame, curved windshield, attractive and highly functional helm and two rows of seating. Lighting throughout the V-46 can be controlled from the helm via the available Lumitec Poco Digital Lighting Control.
Like our Viking sportfish and motor yachts, the interior furnishings and amenities of the V-46 shine with meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail. Inside the console, you'll find an air-conditioned private retreat (with 6 feet, 7 inches of headroom) which features dinette seating with a drop-down pedestal that converts to a queen berth. The large portlights welcome in an abundance of light. The cushions and interior panels are wrapped in an attractive Capriccio Grey Sunbrella, and an HD TV is nested on the forward bulkhead.
The machinery room stands out as another attribute that separates the V-46 from the competition, keeping mechanical and electrical systems protected and easily accessible all in one location. The generator, batteries and switches, water heater, Delta T ventilation system and speaker amplifiers are among the vital components housed in this large, well-lit space that has all of the qualities of a Viking engineroom.
