V-37 Heads Off To Battle
Valhalla Boatworks has delivered V Series center consoles to destinations as far away as Costa Rica, and there’s one even headed to Australia. But the Valhalla featured here, the V-37 Defiance , is staying right here in New Jersey. After making a short run north to her homeport in Brielle, she’ll soon be on the hunt for stripers, flounder and bluefin tuna.
A custom Largo Blue boot stripe and Vivid Red pin stripe complement the boat’s Snow White gelcoat, giving this Valhalla a racy, patriotic look. The image above accentuates the V Series ’ signature S-shaped sheerline (a design trait shared with the Viking sportfishing yachts). She’s rigged to fish, but Defiance has a few yacht-like cruising accessories, including a windlass with plow anchor, a bow thruster and bow towing eye.
The custom fiberglass hardtop includes a six-rod rocket launcher and molded-in pod for the radar antenna. The owner also chose Gemlux 22’ carbon fiber telescoping outriggers with Gemlux heavy-duty bases and Miya Epoch 12V electric teaser reels. For seating, she boasts three Release Marine teak helm chairs (with outboard armrests, electric slides and flip-up bolsters) and aft-facing mezzanine seating (with integrated insulated cooler storage).
In addition to the Simrad radar, the owner has fitted out his V-37 with a FLIR thermal imaging camera and dual Lumitec Razor Light Bars forward on the hardtop. This trio of safety accessories will provide heightened nighttime visibility and awareness when making pre-dawn departures for offshore fishing trips. The decal-less outboard cowlings add to Defiance ’s clean, straightforward appearance. Her name and homeport are penned with a rich gold-leaf lettering on the faux teak transom. The 56-gallon transom live well includes a clear lid and Aristo Blue interior – both aiding bait preservation.
Check out this intuitive, operator-friendly helm. The layout features twin 19-inch Simrad displays, Bocatech switches, Yamaha Command Link gauges and controls for the bow thruster and trim tabs. Everything is easily reached and viewed. The teak helm pod and Edson stainless steel wheel with power knob are also perfectly positioned on centerline.
The owner went without the available forward seating to maximize fishability. For the same reason, he opted for an above deck live well inside the forward section of the lounge seating.

In addition to the V-37 , the V Series includes the V-33 and V-41 . For information about any of these high-performance center consoles please contact your authorized Valhalla Boatworks dealer.
