On the heels of the first 55 Sport Yacht – Best of Show winner at the 2025 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show – comes the Sportfish Edition of the same platform.

This version builds on the proven foundation of the 55 SY with layout refinements and fishing features drawn from Viking convertibles and Valhalla center consoles. The result is a highly capable sportfishing boat that blends fishing functionality with refined sport yacht design.

The catalyst for the Sportfish Edition was an owner seeking a true combination of all worlds – Sport Yacht comfort, serious fishing capability and the ability to reach the fishing grounds first. Designed with the Gulf of Mexico blue marlin fishery in mind, the layout and equipment reflect that priority and form the foundation of the Sportfish Edition concept.

The Sportfish Edition incorporates outriggers, a dedicated live well, aft-facing mezzanine seating and integrated rod storage. At the owner’s request, the bow is engineered to accommodate a fighting chair. Fishing capability is further enhanced by omni sonar and a custom tuna tube system integrated into the live well arrangement.

The pilothouse and cabin feature a range of custom touches, including an HDTV in the pilothouse and a guest stateroom configured with twin berths. Exterior details include a Flag Blue hull and teak decking throughout the cockpit, balconies and deck, adding warmth and contrast to the boat’s clean, purposeful profile.
