The V-29 delivers broad versatility in a 29-foot, Viking-built center console – a serious fish boat equally at home on the flats, around inshore reefs, offshore grounds and the sandbar.
Like the current V Series center consoles, the V-29 utilizes the patented Stepped-V Ventilated Tunnel running surface from Michael Peters Yacht Design, reducing drag while increasing speed, stability and efficiency.
Power options include twin Mercury V6 225s, twin Mercury V8 300 Verados and twin Yamaha V6 350 Offshore outboards. The Yamaha package includes Digital Electric Steering, Helm Master EX Joystick and Dometic jack plates. The Mercury packages include electric steering and Dometic jack plates, giving owners strong twin-outboard choices with the control and handling to match.
Big-boat features are built into the V-29, including an available Seakeeper SK 1, Seakeeper Ride, bow thruster, through-stem claw anchor with windlass, Release Marine helm seating and an electric freshwater head with Y-valve. Those features combine with bay boat capability such as trolling motors, Power-Pole hydraulic anchors and jack plates. With 180 gallons of fuel, 40 gallons of freshwater and a 600-hp max engine rating, the V-29 is set up for range, efficiency and serious versatility.
The V-29 excels on the tournament circuit or as a luxury tender to motor yachts, sportfish boats and larger Valhallas. Her fish-focused layout does not sacrifice seating and comfort. The aft flip-up bench seat, helm seating choices, console lounge and available forward bench seating give the V-29 the comfort expected of a yacht tender. Premium upholstery, available Diamond/Bentley stitching and Release Marine teak accents add to the finished look.
The V-29 features twin 25-gallon pressurized live wells on the aft casting deck. She also includes port and starboard aft fishboxes plumbed to a Whale Gulper pump, midship rod storage and a large forward in-deck hatch with an integrated trolling motor battery platform. Fresh/raw water washdown, Gemlux rod holders, lockable rod storage and heavy-duty gasketed hatches add to the boat’s fishing utility.
Valhalla DNA is clear at the helm, with a fiberglass, teak or faux teak helm pod, backlit switching, a black acrylic helm panel and strong electronics options from Garmin and Simrad. Factory-installed packages include Garmin or Simrad MFDs, sonar modules, transducers, radar options, autopilot, VHF, FLIR thermal camera and entertainment packages. The console also provides access to the backside of the helm and electronics equipment for serviceability.
The optional fiberglass hardtop includes polished aluminum supports, forward- and aft-facing Lumitec Mirage spreader lights, a five-rod rocket launcher, molded-in overhead electronics pod, molded-in radar pod, overhead lighting and recessed speakers. Light bars, radar, FLIR, Gemlux outriggers and a custom stand-on console second station are also available for owners who want greater visibility and expanded fishing capability.
Serviceability is a key design objective for Valhalla, with maximized bilge access through the flip-up bench seat on the forward section of the aft casting deck. Clear access to mechanicals such as the Hooker sea chest live well system, seacocks and bilge pumps makes maintenance easier.
Viking and Valhalla expertise, quality and craftsmanship deliver another industry-leading center console – compact, capable and built to fish.
